How do I add a dock note?
Open the facility's detail screen, tap + Add Dock Note, choose the type of note (amenity, rule, direction, or contact), fill in the details, and tap Submit. See Dock Notes for the full walkthrough.
How do I claim my facility?
Claiming a facility is done through the Dock Watch Business Portal at business.dockwatch.app, not the driver app. If you manage a dock location, create a business account there.
Is Dock Watch free for drivers?
Yes. The driver app is completely free to download and use. There are no subscriptions or fees.
Why is a location not showing up in search?
If you can't find a facility, try searching by city and state instead of the company name. If it still doesn't show up, Dock Watch will automatically pull results from Google Maps as a fallback — tap the result to add it to the database.
How do I report incorrect information on a listing?
Use the Contact Us option in Settings to reach the Dock Watch support team. Include the facility name, address, and what's incorrect.
Can I edit a review I submitted?
Yes, if the review is still within the editable window. Go to the Home tab, tap on the past visit, and tap Edit Review if the option is available.
What do the Verified and Insured badges mean?
- Verified — The business has claimed this listing and confirmed ownership.
- Insured — The business has a valid Certificate of Insurance on file with Dock Watch.
Why does the check-in timer keep running?
The timer runs until you manually tap Check Out on the facility's detail screen. Your check-in time is only recorded when you check out.
Can I use Dock Watch on Android?
Yes. The Dock Watch app is available on both the App Store and Google Play.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. Your account and personal data will be permanently removed. See Settings for details.
